Using AI to SUPERCHARGE Your Results

Introduction

Your Hidden Genius reveals your innate aptitudes with clarity and depth. But what if you could take those authentic insights and instantly transform them into powerful, polished language for the moments that matter most? That’s where AI comes in.

When you pair your YouScience results with today’s best AI tools, you unlock a game-changing advantage. Because AI can only work with the inputs it’s given, your true aptitude data—objective, science-based, and uniquely yours—provides the perfect foundation. From there, layering in your own personal stories and lived experiences makes every output shine with authenticity.

Think of it as a creative amplifier. AI helps you turn raw self-knowledge into compelling résumés, crisp LinkedIn About sections, memorable elevator pitches, and interview answers that sound like you at your very best. Instead of generic, cookie-cutter language, you’ll have messaging that reflects your hidden genius—language that communicates your strengths with clarity, confidence, and originality.

In the sections that follow, you’ll find step-by-step prompts and exercises to help you put this into practice. Consider it your roadmap for transforming aptitude insights into career-defining words that set you apart.

Personalize Your Insights: A Step-by-Step Exercise

This activity helps you turn your YouScience results into language that feels both authentic and powerful. You’ll combine science (your aptitude report) with story (your lived experience) to create résumés, LinkedIn profiles, interview pitches, and more that truly stand out. Step 1: Print Your Report

  • Log in to your YouScience dashboard.

  • Open your Describing You Summary Report in the Discuss Together section.

  • Print a copy, or keep it open on your screen.

Step 2: Highlight What Resonates

On your report, mark:

  • 6–8 words from Terms That Describe Me that feel most true to you.
Examples: Discerning, Advocate, Future-Focused, Strong Communicator, Planner, Brainstormer.

  • 6–8 sentences from My Highlights that stand out.
    Examples:

    • “I want my work to bear my unique handprint.”

    • “I strive to be an expert in my fields of interest.”

    • “I rarely experience writer’s block or difficulty expressing myself.”

Step 3: Add Personal Stories

Bring your aptitudes to life by adding 2–3 short stories that show your strengths in action. Use the STAR method to guide you:

  • Situation – What was happening?

  • Action – What did you do?

  • Result – What changed (numbers, outcomes, recognition)?

  • Meaning – What does it show about how you work?

👉 Tip: Add data and details — company names, timelines, team sizes, budgets, or metrics. The more specific you are, the stronger your AI outputs will be.

Example:
“I strive to be an expert in my fields of interest.”
When I joined a new team at Company X, I taught myself advanced analytics tools within three months. I became the go-to resource for a 12-person department — reinforcing both my determination and my value as a fact-driven problem solver.

Step 4: Use AI to Craft Your Career Language

Now bring your highlighted words, sentences, and stories into ChatGPT (or another AI tool). Ask it to create three outputs:

Output 1: LinkedIn “About” Section

Copy This Sample Prompt:
“I’ve completed a YouScience reflection. Here are my top descriptors, highlight sentences, and stories. Can you write a LinkedIn ‘About’ section (140–180 words) using synonyms and fresh phrasing so it feels authentic?”

Output 2: Résumé Summary

Copy This Sample Prompt:
“Using my descriptors, highlights, and stories, create 4–5 crisp résumé bullets. Start each with a strong verb. Include measurable details where possible.”

Output 3: Elevator Pitch (Interview Ready)

Copy This Sample Prompt:
“Using my descriptors, highlight sentences, and personal stories, create two versions of an interview pitch: a 60-second version and a 20-second version. Keep them conversational and natural.”

Pro Tips for Stronger AI Results

  • Ask AI to swap in synonyms instead of copying your report.

  • Make sure it weaves in your stories for authenticity.

  • Push for specifics — metrics, company names, timelines.

  • Edit drafts so they sound like you, not a template.

✨ With this process, you’re not just filling in blanks — you’re creating a career narrative that blends the truth of your aptitudes with the polish of AI.
